Ukraine destroys Russian plant producing 40% of the country's LPG supply

Ukraine has struck the main facilities of Russia's largest Siberian chemical plant, which produces 40% of Russia's domestic LPG supply as well as large quantities of polymers. The attack threatens a serious fuel crisis for Russian motorists who switched to gas-powered vehicles to cope with previous fuel shortages. The destruction of the plant will also affect Russia's polymer production and wider industrial output.
