Poland to expand centralised e-referral system for specialist appointments from August 2026

From 1 August 2026, Poland's national health fund (NFZ) will expand its central e-registration system for specialist appointments. The platform is designed to reduce duplicate bookings and help patients find the earliest available slot. The long-term goal is to cover all NFZ-funded specialist clinics.
