Gen Z drives record Q2 revenues at Cineplex as younger audiences return to cinemas

Canadian cinema chain Cineplex posted record second-quarter revenues, driven largely by younger audiences. CEO Ellis Jacob said Generation Z is "tired of looking at small screens" and is embracing the big-screen experience. Films including "The Odyssey" and "Michael" were among the titles that fuelled Hollywood's box office rebound.
