Farmer ploughed a road in Gliwice — Google Street View images raise boundary questions
A 60-year-old farmer ploughed up a newly laid asphalt road on Rybacka Street in Gliwice, claiming the land is his. The city insists the plot has been municipal property for 25 years, but archival Google Street View images show boundary posts sitting in the middle of what is now the road. The case is further complicated by records of a partial land acquisition in 2001. The man remains in pre-trial detention without a defence lawyer.
