FDA approves first mRNA flu vaccine for adults aged 50 and over in the US

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved the first mRNA-based influenza vaccine, using the same technology as many COVID-19 shots. The vaccine is authorised for adults aged 50 and older. It is not yet clear whether insurance companies will cover the cost of the novel flu shot.
