Polish government adopts rules allowing courts to more easily overturn ZUS decisions
The Polish government approved on Tuesday an amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure that broadens courts' ability to quash erroneous decisions by pension and social insurance bodies, including ZUS. Under current rules courts rarely return cases for re-examination; the new provisions are intended to change that. The reform is designed to help insured persons assert their rights without lengthy court proceedings.
