Ukrainian protection numbers rise across EU but fall in Poland for second month running

Eurostat data for the end of June show the number of Ukrainians under temporary protection in the EU rose by 24,380 in one month. Poland recorded a second consecutive monthly decline, with over 10,000 fewer Ukrainians covered compared to the end of April. The trend may reflect Ukrainians moving to other EU countries or returning to Ukraine.
