Qatar sees 'positive' signs in Iran-Oman talks on reopening Strait of Hormuz
Qatar has reported "positive" signs in talks between Iran and Oman on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, saying the two countries have reached the technical stage of negotiations and are finalising shipping route coordinates. However, Doha warned against delay, noting that only six vessels transited the strait on Monday compared with 130–140 before the war. Restoring normal transit is seen as critical for global energy supply.
