Draft law would make video hearings standard in Polish criminal proceedings

Poland's justice ministry has submitted for public consultation a draft law that would expand the use of video conferencing in criminal proceedings. Remote hearings for witnesses, expert witnesses and victims would become more common, and some procedural steps would be mandatorily recorded.
