200 Polish tourists stranded in Sicily as Etna eruption disrupts flights

Around 200 Polish tourists are having difficulty leaving Sicily due to volcanic activity from Mount Etna, Foreign Ministry spokesman Maciej Wewiór announced on Tuesday. The eruption has caused disruptions to air traffic on the island, including cancellations and rescheduled flights at Catania airport. The Foreign Ministry has urged travellers to contact their carriers.
