Poland sets new all-time temperature record, surpassing 40.5°C in Kołuda Wielka

This year's heatwave brought the highest temperatures ever recorded in Poland. The previous record of 40.5°C was measured in Słubice. New data from the IMGW meteorological institute reveals that on the same day, thermometers in Kołuda Wielka in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship exceeded even that figure, setting a new all-time national record.
