Spotify to label AI artists and remove them from recommendations starting September

Spotify will begin rolling out an "AI Persona" badge in mid-September for artists whose profiles do not represent real people. Music from these accounts will be removed from personalised recommendations across the app. The platform will allow artists to voluntarily disclose their AI status.
