Bumble drops women-first rule — anyone can now send the opening message
Dating app Bumble has dropped its signature rule requiring women to send the first message in heterosexual matches, a policy that defined the app since its 2014 launch. Either person in a match can now initiate conversation. The company had teased the change back in May.
