Spotify to label AI Persona profiles and exclude them from recommendations

Spotify is rolling out "AI Persona" labels for artist profiles that represent AI-generated identities. Music from these profiles will be excluded by default from editorial, algorithmic, and personalised recommendations. It is one of the streaming industry's first concrete steps to address the growing volume of AI-generated content on the platform.
