Katowice anti-mosque protest targets a building that won't be a mosque
Right-wing politicians and residents in Katowice are organising a protest against what they claim is a mosque under construction. However, the owner of the expanding Centre of Culture and Dialogue and local officials clarify that the building is a multi-purpose hall for cultural, charitable and religious activities — not a mosque. The false narrative continues to spread and mobilise protesters regardless.
