Smuggling tunnel found on Belarus-Latvia border — Operation "Wilkołak" launched
A underground tunnel used for illegal border crossings was discovered in south-eastern Latvia, near the border with Belarus. A dozen or more migrants reportedly used it to enter Latvian territory. The find triggered the launch of an operation codenamed "Wilkołak" targeting people smuggling along this route.
