Ukrainian officer arrested for taking bribes for fake disability certificates

A logistics officer from a Ukrainian Armed Forces unit under the General Staff has been arrested on corruption charges. She allegedly accepted between $14,000 and $20,000 per case for falsified disability certificates that led to soldiers being discharged from service. The case was disclosed by Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigations.
