Vistula at 103 cm, Rhine may become unnavigable as drought grips Europe

The water level on Poland's Vistula river has dropped to an alarming 103 cm, with 78 active drought warnings currently in force across the country. At the same time, falling water levels on the Rhine threaten to make the river unnavigable, potentially crippling freight transport and industry across Central Europe.
