New Constitutional Court judges left idle for 120 days — case enters key phase in Strasbourg
Some newly appointed judges of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal have been waiting over 120 days for assignment to cases, facing refusals at several institutional levels. Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska told TVN24+ about the details of her situation, stating: "We will not allow ourselves to be treated differently from other judges." Their case before a European court has meanwhile entered a "key contentious phase".
