Żegiestów-Zdrój builds €1.5m promenade to shed "ghost spa town" label

Construction of a promenade along the Żegiestowski Stream is underway in the mountain spa town of Żegiestów-Zdrój in southern Poland. The project is valued at 6.16 million zloty and is expected to be completed before the end of this year. Authorities hope it will boost tourism in the resort, which had recently earned the nickname "ghost spa town."
