UK lawmakers press banks on crypto firms' access to accounts under new FCA regime

UK lawmakers have urged banks to explain how the new Financial Conduct Authority crypto regulatory regime will affect their policies towards digital asset companies. MPs described restricted access to bank accounts as one of the single biggest barriers to growth for the crypto sector in the UK. The questions were sent ahead of the new FCA rules coming into force.
