Flood scandal: KARR supervisory board set to dismiss KO vice-president

The supervisory board of the Karkonoska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego (KARR) is meeting today to consider the dismissal of vice-president Anna Konieczyńska of Koalicja Obywatelska. Her husband received a 200,000-złoty flood relief loan from KARR, sparking a conflict-of-interest controversy. The non-partisan local government grouping Bezpartyjni Samorządowcy is backing the agency's current president against the move.
