Farmer jailed for ploughing up fresh asphalt — MEP Wojciechowski demands release
A farmer from Gliwice-Ostropa who ploughed up a freshly laid stretch of asphalt, drawing nationwide attention, has been placed in pre-trial detention. MEP and lawyer Janusz Wojciechowski has come to his defence, filing a petition titled "Free the farmer" with the Prosecutor General. Wojciechowski is calling for prosecutorial intervention in the case.
