Poland to receive €700m EU funds for district heating transformation

The Polish government plans to adopt a resolution launching the Heating Transformation Fund worth at least €700 million (around PLN 3 billion), financed from EU funds. The programme replaces KPO milestones previously tied to fees on combustion-engine vehicles. It is to be launched by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management before the end of August.
