Poland to install 5 million smart meters by with 1 billion złoty in grants

Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has signed grant agreements totalling 1 billion złoty to purchase and install nearly 5 million smart remote-reading meters in homes and businesses. The devices are to be deployed over the next five years. The programme aims to modernise Poland's energy grid.
