Scammers impersonate Poland's ZUS pension office to steal money via SMS

Fraudsters are calling elderly people and promising higher pension payments, then sending follow-up SMS messages impersonating Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The scam can cost victims up to 800 złoty. ZUS does not offer pension programmes via phone or text message, and urges people to ignore such communications.
