NFZ faces budget shortfall, but health minister reassures patients

Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda told TVN24 that the first effects of linking PESEL numbers to doctors' earnings will appear in October, covering September. Despite a significant budget shortfall at the National Health Fund, she assured that patients should not worry. She said the real problem is not a shortage of medical staff but their poor distribution across the country.
