Cricket Australia eyes Big Bash League expansion to 10 teams

Cricket Australia is considering expanding the Big Bash League to 10 teams, contingent on approval of plans to sell off some existing franchises. The CA board meets on Wednesday to pursue a hybrid model under which some current franchises would be sold while others remain under existing arrangements. An earlier proposal for wholesale privatisation of the league was rejected by the states in April.
