Świątek reaches Toronto semi-finals with 6:2, 6:1 win over Sznajder

Iga Świątek has advanced to the semi-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto, beating Diana Sznajder 6:2, 6:1. The Polish six-time Grand Slam champion had previously defeated Sara Bejlek, Viktorija Golubic and Marta Kostiuk in the same tournament. Her prize earnings at the event have already exceeded one million Polish złoty. She will face Elina Svitolina in the semi-finals.
