Copper edges up on LME — 14% gain since January

Copper prices on the London Metal Exchange are edging higher, posting a 14% gain since the start of the year. Aluminium is also rising, while other base metals are falling. Brokers note that investors are closely watching the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
