Doctors at Sosnowiec hospital earned up to 1.8 million zloty a year — councillor demands answers

Gazeta Wyborcza revealed that doctors at the Sosnowiec City Hospital earned as much as 1.8 million zloty per year. The issue came to light after Civic Coalition councillor Ewa Szota filed a formal inquiry demanding transparency in the use of public funds. The case is complicated by the fact that the National Health Fund has not paid the hospital several million zloty for services already rendered.
