Food prices growing at record low pace — experts warn the trend may reverse
Food and everyday product prices rose by an average of 1.9 percent year-on-year in July, the lowest rate ever recorded in a survey by UCE Research and WSB Merito University. Experts note that while the slowdown in price growth is notable, there is a significant chance the trend will reverse. They warn of a likely return to higher inflation in the coming months.
