Mary de Rachewiltz, Ezra Pound's daughter, dies at 101

Mary de Rachewiltz, the illegitimate daughter of poet Ezra Pound, has died at the age of 101 at her home in the 13th-century Brunnenburg Castle in the mountains of northern Italy. Born on 9 July 1925 in Bressanone, she was given up to a foster family but remained devoted to her father throughout her life. She was a translator and scholar of his work.
