Polish household financial assets hit record 4.1 trillion PLN, cash still dominates

Polish household financial assets exceeded a record 4.1 trillion PLN at the end of the first quarter of this year. More than 30 percent is held in cash and current deposits, reflecting a conservative approach to saving, according to PKO BP economist Kamil Pastor. Experts predict the amount of cash held in Polish homes will continue to grow.
