Poland set to access billions more from EU's SAFE defence loan instrument

The Polish government will soon be able to apply for additional funds from the EU's SAFE loan instrument to purchase weapons. The amounts involved are several to over a dozen billion euros. Changes are also planned to arms programmes already financed through the instrument.
