Women earn higher investment returns but invest far less than men

Only around a quarter of UK women hold investments, compared with about 40% of men. Research suggests that women who do invest tend to achieve higher returns on average. Experts point to greater patience and fewer impulsive trading decisions as key reasons for women's stronger investment performance.
