Zuckerberg's $300M superyacht ignored Coast Guard call and failed to aid stranded boaters
Mark Zuckerberg's $300 million superyacht Launchpad failed to respond to a US Coast Guard radio call off the coast of Alaska when a 21-foot skiff carrying two women, a child and a dog was stranded. The vessel Wilderness Legacy ultimately diverted to rescue them, with passengers booing when the captain announced Zuckerberg's yacht had not helped. Passenger Michael Love posted about the incident on Bluesky, and ship-tracking data partly corroborated his account.
