Two storm waves batter Warsaw, leaving thousands without power across Masovia

Two waves of violent storms swept over Warsaw on Monday, with the first downing trees in the Praga and Bródno districts and a much stronger second wave engulfing nearly the entire city late in the evening. Thousands of residents across the Masovia region were left without electricity. The Government Security Centre issued updated weather warnings for the area.
