Swoboda wins silver at European Athletics Championships — 0.02s off gold in 100m

Ewa Swoboda claimed the silver medal in the 100m final at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, finishing just 0.02 seconds behind British winner Amy Hunt. It is Poland's first medal at these championships. Swoboda led for much of the race before Hunt edged ahead in the closing metres.
