Bukowiecki misses European Championships podium by narrow margin in shot put

Konrad Bukowiecki finished outside the medals in the shot put at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. Had he matched his personal best for the season, he would have taken silver, but he fell short on the day. Fellow Pole Szymon Mazur also competed in the final, but Poland went home without a podium finish in the event.
