Severe supercell storm hits Masovia — 22,000 homes lose power, gusts exceed 100 km/h

A powerful supercell thunderstorm swept across the Masovia region of Poland on Monday evening, bringing torrential rain and gusts exceeding 100 km/h. Around 22,000 customers lost power as a result of the storm. Difficult weather conditions forced the diversion of an aircraft bound for Warsaw's Okęcie airport.
