Poland's NIK audit: Nawrocki didn't pay 55,200 PLN for IPN guest room
Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) found in its 2025 report on the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) that over 55,000 PLN in unpaid fees for a guest room were not recovered from former IPN president and current Polish President Karol Nawrocki. NIK accused IPN's management of ignoring a previous recommendation to pursue the debt. IPN's leadership responded that its directors are not charged such fees due to the nature of their service and irregular working hours.
