Poland's PFR may join Orlen Synthos Green Energy to speed up SMR nuclear reactors

Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka has confirmed that talks are underway for the Polish Development Fund (PFR) to take a stake in Orlen Synthos Green Energy. The move is aimed at accelerating investment in small modular reactors (SMRs) and breaking a deadlock in prolonged negotiations between Orlen and Synthos. PFR could join the company before the end of this year.
