Nvidia chip capability downgrade could boost Micron's high-bandwidth memory sales

An analyst says Nvidia's decision to downgrade certain chip capabilities could drive up consumption of high-bandwidth memory (HBM), benefiting Micron. The rationale is that reduced chip performance may push system builders to compensate with greater HBM capacity. Micron is one of the main suppliers of HBM chips used in AI hardware.
