Florida reports another death from flesh-eating bacteria found in seawater

Florida has recorded another death caused by Vibrio vulnificus, the flesh-eating bacterium found in seawater. One in five people infected with the pathogen die, often within just two days of symptoms appearing. Authorities are warning beachgoers and fishermen to keep open wounds out of the water.
