Analyst: permanent US troop presence in Poland lowers risk of conflict with Russia

Analyst Bartłomiej Kot told "Wyborcza" that a permanent US military presence in Poland reduces the likelihood of a Russian confrontation with NATO. He argues Russia fears American bases because of their deterrent effect. Poland stays safe as long as it is seen as strong and united with its allies.
