Russia's Supreme Court bans only anti-war party Yabloko from September elections

Russia's Supreme Court on Monday banned Yabloko, the country's only openly anti-war party, from running in September's parliamentary elections to the State Duma. The court cited alleged campaign irregularities, which observers have described as absurd pretexts. Around a hundred protesters gathered outside the courthouse chanting "Shame!" after the ruling.
