Cyberattack on Steam's European logistics partner exposes customer data

Valve has notified European customers who purchased Steam hardware that a cyberattack on its logistics partner CEVA Logistics likely exposed their personal data. The attack occurred between July 29 and August 1, with Valve learning of the breach on August 7. The compromised data included delivery-related information that Valve shares with CEVA to fulfil hardware orders, which the French company retains for up to 90 days after delivery.
