PPK assets hit PLN 55.9bn but Poles withdrew PLN 367m in July alone

Net assets in Poland's Employee Capital Plans (PPK) reached PLN 55.9 billion in July 2026. At the same time, participants withdrew roughly PLN 367 million in that single month, opting not to wait until retirement. The scale of withdrawals suggests many treat PPK savings as a short-term fund rather than a pension buffer.
