Sweden foils Russian spy operation aimed at splitting NATO and the EU
Sweden's Security Service SÄPO announced it has foiled a Russian intelligence operation on Swedish soil. The operation aimed to discredit Sweden and sow divisions within NATO and the EU. An agent working at a foreign diplomatic mission was said to have taken part in the plot.
